My nephew is in town with his wife for a wedding. She is a bridesmaid and will be doing bridesmaid stuff all morning.
He wants to take me and my two teenagers to the "best breakfast restaurant in N.O." tomorrow morning while she is getting lavish treatment at a sundry of high fallutin' places.
His hotel is in the FQ, but anywhere in the city is reachable.
Whatcha got?

oh jesus. I went there back in college . about 12 years ago. and even as a dumb college student I knew the food was terrible.
OP, I would hit up Elizabeht's myself.

It's overrated, but the Ruby Slipper will be up their alley.

Is Coulis still open? I liked that place the couple times I went.

Elizabeth's. Not that I know a shite load about the others. But I sure like it

Yes. It is okay. I like my 4 better though.
The brioche bowl with cream, poached eggs and gruyere at Tartine is my favorite breakfast dish in town.

Ruby Slipper and Coulis are pretty good. But I'd go with Stanley if they're open. I think they were closed for "winter cleaning" recently.

I've never been to the Coffee Pot but I only hear good things about it.
My personal choice would be Surrey's
