Beer and Homebrewing Books

Which books do you have in your collection?
I have quite a few. I love reading about the history of beer. I also have a few instructional books to.
Right now i have:
The Complete Joy of Homebrewing - Read through about half of it before buying How to Brew. Seems a little more outdated in practices as compared to how to brew, but more in depth of history. This is the book that peaked my interest and got me thinking of brewing my own beer.
How to Brew (An absolute must for homebrewers, IMO)
Designing Great Beers - This is a great book for all-grain brewers. It's been helping me, so far, in my formulation of recipes.
For the love of Hops - Coming in today
IPA (in the mail)
Brewed Awakening - Really great book about the history and story of brewing in America. It's basically a road map of breweries with stories behind some of the breweries, and also beer styles, who brews them, and the history of. I read it once, may read it again pretty soon.
The Craft of Stone Brewing - Interesting read on the startup of Stone
Brewing up a Business - haven't read yet
The Lagunitas Story - in the mail
The Beer Book - Old book i got about 4 years ago, when i first started trying exports. Good Coffee table book

although i've never home brewed, i have the first two (Papazian and Palmer). I bought them last summer to begin researching the process.
Last summer, I was tempted by two new hobbies at once--home brewing and smoked sausage making. And sausage making won out, which i've been messing around with since the early fall.
I hope to dive into the home-brew hobby in the spring/summer.

Those were my first 2. I read through most of how to brew before i even started brewing. It helped a lot.
My fiancee also got me a book on charcuterie. So i may be in the same boat as you, however homebrew will take precedence with me.

I saw a copy of IPA at my LHBS and was thinking about getting it. Any good?

Brand new book but it's from Mitch Steele from Stone so he probably knows what he's talking about.

I have the Papazian, the Palmer, the Stone and the DFH books, and a couple others I can't think of right now, and Designing Great Beers is next on my list, unless I see that Lagunitas book first

Brewing Classic Styles, Brewing Better Beer, Brew Like a Monk, Radical Brewing, New Brewing Lager Beer, How to Brew, The English Pub, Beer by Michael Jackson, The Great Beers of Belgium, Evaluating Beer, The Complete Joy of Homebrewing, Classic Styles Bock, Classic Styles Munich Helles, Designing Great Beers.
Most of them I've read several times. Jacksons books are my favorites. I enjoy Designing Great Beers very much and Brewing Better Beer was the most recent. I added several from this thread to my Amazon list!

You need a little Michael Jackson in your life if you appreciate the history and culture of brewing. Great Beers of Belgium for starters.
