Not sure it will be eligible, but very close. Cant remember what the timing rules are.
But it wouldnt win regardless. That award is a NYC award, Peche winning it was an aberration (for the award, not that it isnt deserving)

Ehh he is responding to that Anderson article that basically soured the whole best chef south issue this year. The Anderson article, while it had some valid points, basically amounted to a "well even though the rules say you can be nominated, you shouldnt have been."

The entire voting of Beards award is a ridiculous conceit and pointing out one thing being more ridiculous is shortsighted.

Love the place but it's too close to my house. Between it, La Petite and Lilette my bank account stays slim and my frigging waist is the opposite.

Had my first visit to Shaya on Sunday. Exquisite!

I can't wait to get back to try the rest of the menu. It really is Peche with Israeli cuisine.

I couldn't live there, but it's a nice place to visit.

Watched as much as I could before falling asleep. Congrats to Alon!

Lots of other New Orleans nominations in there.

The Blue Hill chef won outstanding restaurant right as I was watching his episode of Chef's Table.

That stretch of Magazine street is killing it right now.
