I recently scratched menudo off my list. I liked it too.

Caviar is something I'd like to try just to say I have.

I've always enjoyed sweetbreads but there are two types (thymus and pancreas) of which I've found the smaller ones to be much more pleasurable. Great cut of organ, although they're super high in cholesterol lol

Tried menudo once. Couldn't finish it. I'll give it another shot at a better joint.

Jamon Iberico de Bellota is about to get checked off the list. Bought one for a fundraiser I'm doing Sunday. Can't wait to carve it.

Do you like the way fish smells...like freshwater fish when you filet it or the slimy smell it leaves on your hands. Caviar kinda tastes like the ocean water and salt mixed with that lol. I enjoy it actually, but it's pretty fishy

The problem isn't the place. It's the dish. It's awful. The best menudo on the planet will be one of the worst things you ever eat.

Yeah, I'm not a menudo fan, either. I'm just not big on hominy and tripe.

I also have no interest in trying tarantulas, grasshoppers, or any other bugs.

I would like to try Rocky Mountain oysters, haggis, squirrel, raccoon w/ sweet potatoes.

And those grilled sardines look delicious

Mountain oysters and sweetbreads are at the top of my list that I haven't tried. Menudo can be good but is barnyardy. La Pagua in Lafayette has a decent one.
