I like it. You play the players you draft and maybe 1 or 2 players you get lucky with on the waiver wire. Want to get better? Use the draft or trades to improve.

I'd be in the minority, but I'd like to have a cut off on milb transactions, increase the draft slots and make the draft more exciting since you get to scout players all year, instead of watching them get picked off during the season.

It's just different... both other money leagues I'm in have large benches. TDBL has a 9-person bench + DL, the other one has a 17-person bench (40-man rosters) but that includes the DL. Maybe it's just too early for anyone to be making moves, but both of those leagues seem to be more active with trades, and I feel the roster flexibility has a lot to do with it.

It's too early to make moves and people have yet to adjust to the reality of this league. In order to get a significant piece you're going to have to give a significant piece. You're not going to be able to make the same kind of trades you make in RW3R or TDBL. Rosters are just too thin.

Which is a good thing. A dynasty league isnt going to be like the other leagues.

This league promotes a strong draft and a strong farm to supplement your active roster as the years go by.

I dont think it's boring at all. Takes away selling draft picks, 3 for 1s, etc to try and win a league.

I think this is still going to happen when the deadline rolls around.

It will happen, but not on the scale of the other leagues. You can sell a bunch of picks and players and still recover in the offseason.

Any team conscious of the future in this league will tread carefully I think. Even selling 2 good players for 1 will have ramifications in this league. The value of players is just different.

I think it's worked out just as I expected to, particularly with the whining from rondo's fgt arse. The one thing that I could see maybe becoming an issue is when a team is just decimated by injuries.

Part of me wishes that I proposed a rule that there is no limit to the number of guys you can put on the DL, but that those players have to have already been on your roster when they got hurt. I can certainly envision a situation where 5 or 6 key injuries occur, and you will be forced to make a tough roster decision due to terrible luck.

The only decision will be to keep your DL guys and lose because you're not going to find anything in the FA pool to help you win or that would be good enough to consider releasing a rostered DL player.

But you can. Quality relievers can still be found on the wire to help with IP, ratios, and holds.

Just in the last two days, I've picked up three hitters and one relief pitcher for I guess you can call it "spot starts".

3 for 8, 2 runs, 4 RBIs, 1 homer

1 IP, 2 Ks, 0.00 whip

It's thin, but I like the roster sizes currently constructed and feel there are options that can help teams that are out there.

Gyno picked up Peguero and Fields. I love those two pickups. They can help you win. There are players out there.

I think that would be the only area of any quality talent available.

And sure you can stream some guys here and there as MWG suggests, but if you lose several significant players to injury there's nothing out there to help.

If anyone should know better, it's you.

Also, I kinda like Lobstein as a 4th or 5th SP. But his K/9 is poo.
