I love Coquette. It is one of my favorite in this city. I recommend it all the time. You will enjoy it.

That being said, Atchafalaya has a better brunch, both in atmosphere and food. But that's me.

take her to commanders palace or brennans my man

Might not get into either of them at this late date, but my last Commander's brunch was outstanding. The dirty grits were good enough alone to return. I'm looking forward to trying Brennan's under the new garde.

I don't think I've ever walked out of Commander's for Brunch and been disappointed.

We went a couple times over the summer. I had the shrimp and grits with gumbo. My wife had the soft shell crab. I thought it was great.

The Bloody Mary bar is the only thing I really enjoy at atchafalaya. It's overrated

Coquette is top notch for brunch

To be honest, I have gone during brunch a few times and ordered off their lunch menu instead. Brunch is great, but it is really hard to pass up the unique things they do with lunch/dinner foods.

And damn can they make a fun cocktail.

Patois has a killer brunch. That croque monsieur
And the fried rabbit...

Yeah, it is really great. Patois could be the most overlooked restaurant on this board. It has always been really good.

Definitely Atchafalaya. If they're booked, you can just drop in. I've done that a few times and have been seated within 20 minutes. But then again, when I drop in, I usually do it pretty close to when they open (at 10 am) and the music doesn't start until 11. I'd imagine it gets MUCH busier after 11.

Also like Apolline, and you can get a certificate on Restaurant.com.
