Just shut up, dude. Every time there is a controversial situation with an athlete, in this case Adrian Peterson, ESPN shoves Polian's face front and center to talk about it. His views almost always lean to the "this guy is reprehensible and should be excluded" side, going all the way back to his comments on Tyrann Mathieu on draft day. He stated then that Mathieu wouldn't even be on his board. Some karma for him would be nice.

I'm a huge Tyrann Mathieu fan, but I still think every team but Arizona should have left him off their board. He needed PP21.

Did you miss his on-air "attitude adjustment" on the Ray Rice tape? Polian is a clown.

He is a paid shill for the NFL. If he is saying something it is being floated out for the NFL to gauge public reaction.

I think there could have been other teams he would have found success on, not just the cardinals. But they would have had to be similarly far away from NOLA.

I usually don't let analysts/commentators get to me, but I can't stand Polian, especially for the reasons you mentioned.

Looks like karma has already hit him considering he doesn't have a GM job.

Charlie Casserly is just as bad on NFL network. "I would ask Adrian if he is truly sorry and then we would do some research and see if he truly is remorseful by talking to people who know him." Thanks Charlie. That's brilliant.

He lost whatever shred of credibility he might have had with that incident. And ditto for ESPN for not calling him on it.

Polian is 100 years old. I didn't agree with my grandfather all the time but he was old, whatever.
