I was floating down the drunken Spring River a few years ago when I decided I needed to climb a tree and jump out. I was about 15 beers deep combined with shots of god knows what when I found myself shimmyup up a tree trunk that leaned over the river.
My friends yell for me to hurry up so I look ahead when I see a black mass curled up about a foot from my face. it was a big fat water moccasin coiled and ready to frick shite up. I screamed like a bitch and fell in about 2 feet of water. My friends said I was running on top of the water to get away

Ok.
The year was 1985, I was 6. It was a hot summer...south MS hot. We were at our hunting camp doing summer time hunting camp stuff. That afternoon, we all go down to the creek to play on the sandbar. This particular day, the creek had cut the sandbar, creating a small island. Perfect for a 6 year old. I am out there playing and building one bad arse sand-castle-rocket.
I hear some noise in the background, but generally ignore it. Then i hear my sister screaming really loud. I look up and my dad and several of the other guys are running towards me and waving there hands crazy. Finally, amongst the noise, I realize they are screaming at me, telling me to run. Then i hear it..the work SNAKE. I look behind me and a GDCK is probably 6 feet from me. This thing is freaking huge. It was every bit of 6 feet long. In my 6 year old mind it is already swallowing me. I freak, pull some rolling maneuver in the sand and then started to haul arse.
Fortunately, my dad and friends were packing. That shot GDCK multiple times, which was necessary given its size. I recall them noting that it was still moving after somewhere around 20 shots. I was afraid of going in that creek for sometime. The worst part was, between the snake and the shooting, they fricked up my Sandcastle-Rocket. frickIN' GDCK.

I would kill em. The maddest I have ever been was when my cousin threw a deer bladder on me and it busted. Throwing a snake head would be 10x that mad.

I'm walking into my kitchen with my black lab at my heels and I see something on the floor. I turn the light on to find a baby GDCK, a copperhead from the look of it, INSIDE MY frickING HOUSE.
I put the dog away and look for a killing utensil, as I'm getting ready to drop the boom the snake jumps up and slithers behind a bookcase.
I never found him. I don't know how it's possible, but he just fricking vanished. I turned the bookcase upside down, emptied the shelves. Nothing.
So yeah, I think I'll be setting my house on fire soon.
