HE CANT RUN. Over 2 seasons at Penn St, he averaged less than a yard per carry and scored only 1 rushing TD. I dont understand why people get the impression that hes a runner, when hes not.

He had a 1:2 TD:INT ratio at PSU and completed a hair over 50% of his passes. That isn't a QB that can throw.

He had 38 yards in 29 attempts on the ground in 2011. That isn't a QB that can run.

I think a dual-threat QB can do wonders for the offense.

If by dual-threat you mean he can hurt a team in multiple ways, you are correct. Unfortunately, that team wouldn't be the opposition.

The guy hasn't taken a snap for LSU, but you have him all figured out based on what he did as Fr/So at PSU which was a program dying on the vine, huh.

Who knows what the guy can do, but didn't Rivals have to guy listed as one of the best dual guys coming out of HS?

We were not much better in 2011. Defense and ST kept us going. Our red zone offense was and has been terrible.

He's a black QB. He must be dual threat.

Guy can't run at all.

Bad passer and even worse runner.

He's a No-Threat QB

our QBs had amazing passing stats

Probably why both were so coveted by the NFL. Or perhaps your use of the word "amazing" is a bit of a stretch.

I have a hard time understanding why we never saw hide nor hair of him at all this past season. No one snap that I can remember.

Run the ball? Maybe. Throw the ball? Get the hell out of here. Last season he played completed just 39.3% for 685 yards with seven interceptions and two touchdowns. He's garbage.

I'll say it again, he lost his job to and continued to get beat out by a walkon sophomore. And it's not like mcgloin was setting the world on fire while he was playing either.

He ran for 260 yards and 3 tds on 73 carries playing high school football in Michigan. That's less than 4 ypc.

And rivals listed Jordan Jefferson as the #8 pro style quarterback in 2008. How'd that prediction work out for them?

He's just not a runner. He was a wishbone QB in HS. He can run...he just doesnt

73 carries for 260 yards and 3 tds.

If he actually was a wishbone quarterback, those stats are even further proof that he can't run.

Penn State fan checking in...

I've watched Bolden play in person on numerous occasions. The kid can run a 4.5 40 yard dash. He has a rocket arm and was a 4-5 star player out of High School. The problem is he can't read a defense. He's very inaccurate with his throws and doesn't use his god given athletic ability to scramble.

If he was under a compentent QB coach I feel he could be a decent college QB. But he didn't have that at Penn State and probably doesn't have it at LSU.

He'll never see the field at LSU and if he does, LSU is in trouble.
