They told us 30-45 minutes. It was more like 20.

As for Carraba's I recomend the Sirlon Piccata or Chicken Bryan(goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes and lemon sauce) or Chicken Rosa Maria(proschito, mushrooms and fontina). It is similar prices to Bravo and both are chains, but my experiences havae been better here.

I have had buffets tht taste bette than PF Changs. I have been there twice and each time it has sucked beyond my wildest dreams. I dont usually eat food of this nature, but when I do I do not go there anymore. Overpriced, you wait forever for a seat and then for the food. I hate the lighting. It is never getting my business again.

i ate at carrabas not too long ago and it was solid. i got the bone-in ribeye (which i think was a special). i don't remember what the gf got. the fried calamari and fried zuchinni strips are $$$$$$$$$$.

oh yeah, pf changs still sucks. is there anyone on here that can defend this piece of crap place?

"Worst restaurant in BR"? Sounds like hyperbole. There are so many piss-poor restaurants in BR - Ryan's Steakhouse, LaFonda's Mexican? I consider PF Chang's above average in this city.

I would consider Chang's no better than decent. Nine dragon is terrible quality food. You ever open up one of their general tso chickens? No way it is chicken but I still eat it when hungover.

Nine dragon should be considered decent. I don't really see how the food is terrible quality. you know the main ingredients they use don't cost that much? chicken, pork, rice, noodles, etc. i have opened many general tso's chicken meals, they are awesome. it is chicken. it looks like chicken and taste like chicken. it is just fried and covered in a sweet and spicy sauce. and if it isn't chciken then i would still eat there because the food rocks.

the general tso's chicken at nine dragon atleast packs flavor, unlike anything at changs.

oh yeah, and it cost like $6.95 with fried rice and an eggroll.

while the crappy chang's spicy chicken was like $12 and came with NOTHING!!!!

Has Baton Rouge culture really digressed to this?

I used to eat this religiously every weekend and often during the week for the last 3 years. Recently though the quality of the chicken has gone WAY downhill. Where you used to get nice fat chunks of white meat chicken, now I get little, crispy, tough "meat" that I neither can nor can't confirm as being actual chicken meat. Recently I've just been going to the Chinese Restaurant on Nicholson, solely because I get more food for my money, and the chicken actually feels and tastes like chicken.

well, Metairie seems the same. How else to explain the crazy waits.

Ok, question.

What's worse? PF Changes or Fire and Ice? My vote goes to Fire and Ice. Probably the worst "dining" experience i have had since returning to Louisiana over 2 years ago.

But, brah, they have an oxygen bar, and if you drive a really sweet ride, they'll park in right in front on Ve-trens.
