Man, how'd I forget about that one! Greater than all the ones out on the lake now. I was there til about 11 the night it burned down (mysteriously...).

Also a great one--for me mostly pre-1985 when it was still on City Park Avenue where Ralph's is now.

The Rendon Inn has been revived and is one of my best favorite secret watering holes where I know absolutely no one.

Same as The Port Hole on Lakeshore Drive...another earlier mystery fire. However that tragedy was mitigated because, after the insurance claim was settled, they built the new Bart's over the old Port Hole.

Didn't the Bart's owner get nailed for something like money laundering with cocaine dealers later?

Stan’s-Lafayette 06-09
Blaise’s-Maurice 06-08
Handsome Willy’s-New Orleans 14-16

ETA: there are other places that I enjoy more now that I’m older, but those were the places that I’ve spent the most time. They are also all closed now

Honorable mention:

Taproom-Lafayette (Currently)
Cure-New Orleans (Currently)

Not a bad bar but not even the best in AdMo. Dan’s, Johnny Ps, Madams Organ, Blaguard, Brass Monkey (RIP) are all better.
