List player or players the Saints passed on in the NFL draft in the last five years that you wanted them to draft that could have been a solid player for them. Benardrick McKinney and Dat Prescott are players I hoped the saints would have drafted that could be starting for saints now or in the near future.

Peters, Tunsil, and Allen

Would rather have them than Lattimore, Peat, and Rankins

I think more about players I wish we would have drafted and have bombed like Tavon Austin and Jarvis Jones

Peters is an all-pro, biggest pass in a while

Why? We have Vaccaro instead who's better and hasn't had a large number of concussions.

Reid is a better player.

The only person we passed on that pissed me off is Jarvis Landry. He would dominate in the slot.
With his phsyical attitude and Drew's underneath precision, they could have been deadly.
Him and Thomas would be the best young duo in the League for years to come.

What are you basing this off of? They were about even their rookie years and neither played well the next two years. However last year Vaccaro played a lot better than him. PFF rated Vaccaro as the 38th best safety while Reid was 70. Even if you don't agree with PFF they can't be that off.

We traded up in the first that draft to get cooks we weren't going back to back WRs. If you want an LSU player we should have drafted in that draft it was Trai Turner.

Recently Peters is the correct answer.

Turner would be great but the Cooks argument is irrelevant to me, they are very different types of players and would actually compliment each other exceptionally well.

Reid is a team captain and a pro bowler.
Yes, his play hasn't been what it was in the past but the 49ers have fallen apart and he was one of the brightspots.
Reid is a better leader, tackler, and better in coverage...that's just my opinion.

That said, is stillmpissed we passed on Landry. Him + Brees = domination

People love the whole "we should have drafted Jarvis Landry" completely forget:

1. We just moved up to pick Cooks
2. We still had Graham, Colston, and Stills

While on the other end, we lost our #2 CB
Not defending taking SJB because that was not a good idea, but going for a corner was infinitely more necessary than WR at the time.

Like ^ said, Trai Turner would have been the one to complain about.

You could maybe have made an argument after their rookie seasons. Since then, KV has vastly outstripped Reid. He's LOADS better.
