Allen Robinson. I was hoping we would double dip with WR, in the first 2 rounds, instead of getting Baptiste.

Also wanted Shane Ray or Shaq Thompson, in the 2015 draft, when we drafted Peat.

Coltson was in the decline big time.
Cooks and Stills aren't underneath receivers.
Graham fills the seam.

Landry fills a very real void but it doesn't matter.
I admit I am biased as an LSU fan but his work ethic, smarts, and physical attitude fits right in with the Saints. It would have been a great match.
Additionally, I also didn't like moving up to get Cooks because he was the same receiver as Stills (albeit and upgrade).

I think everyone can admit that the Saints have really drafted poorly for some time. They deserve the criticism sent their way.
I hope last years draft is a signnof things to come.

I wanted Landry and Pierre desir. Desir hasn't set the league on fire, but he's still in the damn league...

Basing this off of his first 2 years with an absolutely stacked Niners defense.

Ill be honest. I love JL. One of my favorite Tigers ever. I like him more than Odell's whiney arse.

This is a big one for me considering Cooks is gone and SJB was a giant bust. Him and Thomas and Snead would be awesome.

Tyrann Mathieu

Homer in me wanted him bad, but it was absolutely for the best for Tyrann to get away from Nola.

Homer, but to be mad with this one considering we have a very similar player in Vaccaro.

I understand that, I agree with ALL of that.

The thing is, we had a plethora of weapons and finding an underneath guy is something you could realistically find later...if not this year than the following. Heck, we tried to use Cooks like an underneath receiver since he had good hands. You could get away with not having that kind of receiver when you had a lot of options.

You didn't have that luxury with cornerback. You just lost your #2 guy, your current #2 wasn't very good, you tried to bring in a vet who was a bandaid, and realistically you didn't have depth...we were HURTING for a corner.

Landry would be fun to have but do we really need to get into how much better Snead is than Landry?

Snead wouldn't be in the League without Brees.
Landry is doing it with an average to slightly above average QB.

Snead is great but Landy is on another level.

The Saints have a bad habit of picking for need and passing over other much better players that aren't quite a need but wouldn't improve the team.

Yes but Anothony still has a lot of promise, he has NOT been coached up AT ALL.

Collins would be a great addition to the secondary.

This is a pointless exercise, you could do this for literally every single team and find where they could have taken better players at tons of spots every year
