Wonder what Bass Pro Shop he bought those from?

I'm not a BPS fan, but even I know those people don't sell those guns and especially don't to those people...

By those people I mean felons, not people of African descent.

Are you trying to tell me he could not pass a federal firearms check? Seriously?

He caused the misfeed. Did not draw the slide far enough back to properly seat a round in the chamber. Moron.

Clearly the robber is not bright or has almost zero firearm experience. Even on the third attempt to chamber the round when he thought he had it still had if locked.

I would also say the shite pistol didn't help in chambering what I am assuming is Winchester white box 9mm.

Spot on. Why did he not chamber a round before he even entered the store? Was that seriously for some type of dramatic effect? What an idiot. He is lucky he did not do that in a locally owned and operated convenience store. Because he would not have lived to tell about it.

I'd like to think that as soon as I saw the round not chambered, I would have sprung into action, but like others have said, I have no clue how I'd react in that situation

Pretty sure I could have slammed that guy

I would have been. Not going Rambo on anyone over the cash drawer. Take the money and leave. Love the way that kid handled it. He was awesome.

I would have probably opened the drawer and told him he can come get it and took off running to the kitchen . Or maybe not. I was held up once before with a .357 in my stomach. I remained remarkably calm- on the outside. I think being pretty buzzed leaving a bar at 2 AM helped with that.

I think cashier was high. But did ol' boy really need to cock the gun and stick it right in his face? Seemed quite unnecessary.

I'd imagine being buzzed would sort of take the edge off as it's happening... I'd also guess you were pretty shook after it happened though, right?

What a stupid thug piece of shite. Guy's looking at probably 10 years, at least, for taking a $150 register at Jimmy Johns.

Seriously, who the hell robs a Jimmy John's?

We could stop alot of this from happening if you had a mandatory of 30 years in prison for armed robbery
I think armed robbery ranks out as a crime committed by "high commitment" criminals--people difficult to dissuade from criminal activity. They do hardcore crimes and don't really weigh the consequences because they [somehow] don't plan on being caught. If the 10 years+ he's probably looking at for taking a $150 register wasn't enough, I doubt 30 would have been.

That is fairly conclusive evidence. Give him a trial starting Monday convict his arse by Tuesday. Cut one of his hands off and televise it on Wed. Then give his stipid arse a ten year sentence. I feel certain the next retard will think twice about doing that.
