A tragedy is when a hiker falls to his death on accident. A tragedy is when a high school tornado destroys a town.

A tragedy IS NOT when a murdering, gang member, sociopath, hangs himself after "going down the wrong path" for 15 years.

I guess you didn't read my actual post. His death isn't what's tragic, no one should feel sympathy for him at all.
The tragedy is the fact that someone with so many opportunities winds up the way he did, its pathetic really

Plenty of people are thugs, do drugs, like the street life, etc. The only difference is that he was a football star.

This isn't anymore tragic than other stories of a guy's life being ruined by his own bad decisions. I mean, the only thing to see here is a potential story for other kids on the street.

The tragedy is that a (by all accounts) good 16 year old kid turned to pcp to cope with the death of his father, and it completely fricked with his mind to the point that he became a paranoid, cold blooded killer.

Hadn't heard this PCP thing before. Was this the defenses case?

Aaron Hernandez's story is a tragedy

Palpatine: Did you ever hear the tragedy of Aaron Hernandez The Murderer?

Anakin: No?

Palpatine: I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. Aaron Hernandez was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use a gun to influence the midichlorians to destroy life…

Joking aside, I do feel bad for his daughter. Even locked up, he could have provided some measure of being a father.

You are dealing with a bunch of 14 year olds, that think they sound super tough and conservative saying "frick that POS he got what he deserved"

They are incapable of looking past the surface of anything yet.

I am surprised lnch had an IQ 10 in here though

You used a much better word at the end. His story isn't tragic. It's pathetic.

There is nothing tragic with regard to Hernandez personally. He made his own decisions to throw away all his opportunity. I don't feel the least bit of sorrow for him.

His story honestly would make a great 30 for 30, and I would watch.

Now that the story has come to an end, I don't see how there isn't one made.

Based on the play definition, it is a tragedy for sure.

Yes. And there is absolutely nothing "tragic" about Hernandez personally. No one forced him into the life he chose.

OP used a much better word on this page, pathetic. He's pathetic. He caused tragedies. His life wasn't one.

It's sad that he chose the path he chose.
