Aaron Hernandez's story is a tragedy

I don't feel sympathy for him, he did all of this to himself and deserved everything he got.
The tragedy is the fact that a guy who had every chance to get out of whatever situation he was in and become ultra successful wound up getting life in prison and hanging himself. The guy basically could've been Gronk if he could've changed his life and stepped away from all the negatives in his life.
The lesson to learn is you don't get unlimited chances, and the shots you get you have to take advantage of and not let people or things from your past and current life drag you away from your potential.
Most of us aren't on the verge of being a multi millionaire athlete or a criminal murderer depending on our decisions, but we all make choices based on a variety of factors that shape our lives. Aaron Hernandez decided his old life, "friends", and other things that would drag him down to his worst were more important than things that would raise him up to be his best.
Make choices that improve your life, don't hinder yourself just so you can maintain the life your living now or the life you're comfortable with

On the next 30 for 30
What if I told you

If you've got Urban Meyer covering up your attempted murders in your formative 18-21 years to keep you on the field, you don't really learn your lesson.

I agree with you.
How someone makes the decision to kill their "best friend" who is begging for their life is beyond me

Mike Greenberg, is that you? frick that a-hole POS. The only tragedy is all of his victims.

The tragedy is that a (by all accounts) good 16 year old kid turned to pcp to cope with the death of his father, and it completely fricked with his mind to the point that he became a paranoid, cold blooded killer.

PCP will do that to you.

Good riddance to that loser!

The Aaron Hernandez saga is truly the second most bizarre sports related story I've ever heard.
Sandusky being the first.

It's certainly a nooseworthy story.

His story honestly would make a great 30 for 30, and I would watch.

He was a wanksta that got "hung up" by his self made issues. Good riddance. Go Gata.

It truly is, its the strangest story in sports I've ever heard of in my life. Anyone who disagrees doesn't know the definition of tragedy.

he had same choices everyone else does. Only tragedy is that some people got murdered because of him. Him killing himself is a blessing, and should be celebrated. Saved some tax payers dollars.

The only tragedy is that he didn't off himself years ago

Not doubting it, but where can I read about that? I never followed this guy's case much.
