Anyone have one? Thinking about getting the ole wife one? Also considering a 2017 Honda Pilot?

I liked my wife's highlander a lot and my mom is on her 2nd one. They are great vehicles.

I have a 2016. Wife loves it.

my wife is on her 4th highlander. She loves them. They work well for trips as well. Can fit 4-5 people and a good bit of supplies. Can also lift up the third row seat and fit 7. Very reliable and good on gas mileage.

The stylingchanges they made to the 17 area nice!
My wife had a 14 and there was enough room for two car seats and a 5'6/100lbs person in between them. With the third row down, we could fit a double stroller in the cargo area. You lose all cargo space with the 3rd row up.

1 kid / wife drives a Honda Accord but wants an SUV

Coworker has one and really likes it. I much prefer the 4Runner, but it's probabaly not as kid friendly. I believe it has a much larger tow load though and isn't so mom-ish.

Every review I've read they are pretty much neck and neck. Just depends on which you like better!

It appears the Highlander and the Pilot have improved their look lately.

Yes, it would be perfect for that.

Went and did a test drive on them last week. Nice vehicle. Probably going to get the wife the Platinum one although the XLT would easily do.

The new models of pilot look a lot different. The body seems to be closer to the Odyssey than an Accord.

I agree. I think you will like the Highlander much more.

One of my favorite vehicles. Lots of room, rides great. All around a great car.

Planning on having more kids? If so consider a minivan or you may find yourself trading the SUV in for one on a few years anyway.
