re: Coach O's record at Ole Miss - agdoctor
Orgeron is FAR AND AWAY the worst Ole Miss coach. And his tenure was sandwiched between relatively successful tenures.
He inherited a team with no players. He spent the next 3 years which you can only count the last 2 replenishing the talent. Nutt wins with that talent fur...

re: There goes my childhood - agdoctor
As a season ticket holder for 25 years under 4 coaches Les was the most class act of the bunch. Off the field he did nothing but good things for LSU and it's image. Bottom line is with top 10 recruiting classes LSU has fallen to the bottom of the SEC west. ...

re: Bayer to buy Monsanto for $128/share - agdoctor
Potash Corp and Agrium have reached an agreement to merge as equals. With grain prices down I don't see much potential for rising potash or nitrogen prices. I wouldn't expect any grear returns on any of the stocks...

re: Sod web worms - agdoctor
I would say 7-10 applications. They are do hard to see it's tough to judge when is the best time to spray. Biggest egg lay will be around the full moon which was Friday so if you were seeing moths big hatchout should be mid week. If you are trying to treat the dying spots remember the bulk of the wo...

re: Sod web worms - agdoctor
Use a pyrethroid like I posted earlier. It's extremely effective and safe around pets. Dursban and chlordane are both organophosphate and very toxic to mammals. Lowes of tractor supply probably have a dozen choices to use. The insect isn't a webworm. It's an armyworm named that way because that just...

re: Bayer to buy Monsanto for $128/share - agdoctor
Stoneville has been sold numerous times. I think Monsanto owned them befits get bought DPL. It's an anti-trust issue. The new company would have a huge percentage of the cottonseed business. Hornbeck really makes no difference because all of their genetics is bought from Monsanto anyway. Really jus...

re: Sod web worms - agdoctor
It's an armyworm. Get an insecticide with a pyrethroid at Lowes. Should see something that contains permethrin or bifenthrin. Bifenthrin also very good on exposed ants. Follow the directions and the grass will start greening back up in at most 36 hours ...

re: Bayer to buy Monsanto for $128/share - agdoctor
Industry expects Bayer to sell off all of their seed businesses that they presently own and Liberty herbicide will have to go. The main manufacturer of dicamba is BASF and they have an agreement in place with MONSANTO. The Luling project won't be effected. Biggest issue they have now is getting thei...

re: What's excitement level on campus this am? - agdoctor
At best campus looks like late Nov rent a win games. Quite a few tent frames out but usually at this time of day lots of them have crowds. Still better than the Curley peak when I would drive in at 4:30 and park between Lockett and the Quad. That was all free parking then....

I became a ticket holder with Curleys first game. I sat through all that and since then I've only missed the 93 Arkansas game to bring my kids to Disney. If I'm still alive I will be there....
