Anyone else swear off SNL?

I mean I was getting close to not watching it anymore but still tuned in every once in a while. As political as they have become, the new comment by one of the writers, and well, it just not being funny anymore, I've heard of people turning it off permanently. I just joined the boat. Will no longer watch it.

You shouldn't be watching because they suck and have mostly sucked for over a decade outside of the SNL shorts with Samberg, not because of what some writer posted.

I thought it was borderline watchable back in the nineties when you could at least count on celebrity jeopardy.
Now, there is nothing on that show worth watching...and hasn't been for at least ten years..

The writing and casting alone are enough to keep me from watching it. The fact that they are so blatantly one sided is just icing on the cake.

The writing has been terrible for years. Too many safe jokes. They need Jim Norton/Anthony Jeselnik type writers that aren't afraid to offend.
