Looks like he's done an admirable job with his DC and OC picks. Personally, I think y'all should be feeling MUCH better.

And heck, be glad Kiffin went elsewhere.

15-0 and some would still hate him

In any case, I'm hoping it works out for you.

I really like our coordinators. He did a good job as interim. Hope he does well from here on.

Hate the HC search and how we got here.

Wait how is he getting credit for keeping Aranda? That was a condition of any coach we got

Now we have two solid candidates for interim coach/coach in waiting when Orgeron inevitably crashes and burns.

Yeah. I wouldn't mind it if Texas was paying Herman 8 but I'm disappointed that we bowed out like a bitch.

Yes, but he'll have his chance to win me over.

Easily.

We're not keeping those coordinators forever, and it's entirely possible to run into a bad one no matter how much we pay for him.

Agreed. He did well as interim at USC, too. I think he's worth another look.

I'm not gonna disagree with you there. That shite was painful to watch, honestly. Your posters with "sauces" made it that much worse.

Its not as much the hire as to how it was done. If you interview and vet multiple candidates and come back to O, ok I can live with that. But that wasn't done.

Really? I wasn't aware of that. I seem to recall a lot of folks here worrying about you keeping him. If you got Herman, I wouldn't have been so sure he stayed. I don't think anything was a given. O got hired. Aranda stayed. However you look at it, that's a win for O.

Aranda staying was up in the air when O was hired. Aranda stayed. O has to get at least some credit.
