It's not that I had a problem with them hiring O per se. I like him better than some of the names that were getting thrown around. My problem really is about the process (or lack thereof) that they used to hire him. It seemed that we went all in on our plan A, when that didn't work out Herman was an ad hoc plan B and then when that didn't work out Orgeron was plans C-Z. I'm reasonably OK with the hire but I think a more thorough search is what most of us were expecting. I felt like it was an impulse buy on Alleva's part.
But yes, I'm feeling good about extending Aranda and getting Canada on board.

yeap. there was always a big chance of Aranda leaving. For whatever reason he stayed on . Just like for what ever reason, as soon as miles left and Orgeron took over the offense , defense and special teams all got better. Now we have talented coordinators on both sides of the ball. Somewhere in all that the HC has to get SOME credit. His main job is CEO and he is dong a hell of a job so far
