No. Has had its moments but that's life.
37 years ago today.

No I don't.
I went to dinner one night while dating my wife. There was a middle aged man alone, drinking at the bar. He was being all pawwy with the waitresses...I knew then I didn't want to be that lonely drunk guy chasing young shnizz and striking out.

None. It's a better deal than being single.

1. You have freedom to do anything you want at anytime.
2. No financial barriers
3. Don't have to deal with an irrational pms'ing woman
4. More time to invest in your profession and hobbies
I can go on and on. There is really only one pro I see from the married side and it's a family, but then there's divorce.

Only people that regret it are the ones who married the wrong person.

I don't like to think about it but I do sometimes. Me and my wife most likely will not be able to have kids. So that just leaves us 2 for the rest of our lives. That's a long time. Sometimes you just feel like wanting to do your own thing, not have to always tell somebody what your doing and where your going.
Nothing is impossible these days when it comes to family planning. Go see a fertility specialist and discover options that are available. If it is impossible for one of you to reproduce, there is always adoption.

Never regret getting married. If you do, then you didn't marry the right one. I look forward to leaving work and going home to her.
I DO regret having a ceremony. That money could have been spent in better places. It was beautiful but not worth the stress.

Kids limit that more than getting married. I've probably taken more guy's trips this year than most single people.

There are studies that show you are more likely to be successful in your career as a family man than single. Shows stability

Very little.
Marriage can be tough at times because you're committed to another person and that person has dreams, aspirations, and expectations of their own. Sometimes they conflict with yours.
Sometimes life doesn't go the way you thought it would and you decide you want to change your situation. But if changing your own situation means uprooting the life of your spouse, then you probably can't do anything without causing resentment between the two of you.

There is an excitement about being able to go out every night though, meet new girls, etc.
Ah yes, I'm the envy of all my friends since my divorce. But most married guys forget what it's like to be single. When I don't have my kids, I come home to an empty house. No one to talk to. There's no dinner ready for me to eat. My clothes aren't ironed. My house isn't already clean.
Yes, you can go out and meet girls. And sure, it's good for about a minute. But after so long, you get tired of that shite too. Then you think about how nice it would be to meet that one person that you just click with, that you could see yourself being happy to see their face every day. Timing, situation, the right person, it's damn near impossible for all that to line up. Then you start to notice all those sad older guys at the bar, acting a fool. And you pray that God will not let you be that sad looking old guy in the goofy shirt one day.
I don't regret getting married. I just regret marrying the wrong one. To me, marriage is awesome if she's a good woman and treats you right. So my advice for the married guys is if you have a good woman, thank the Lord for her every day.
