Choose wisely and it's the best decision you'll ever make.
Choose poorly and you're sure to regret it and long for a single life.

It all comes down to your personal decision and commitment to making it a good marriage.

I personally made an excellent decision, and I'm happy almost every day.

no benefit to it. I have never had a job that didn't offer health benefits to domestic partners, and for most of our lives we have been nailed with marriage penalty.

I don't envy the apathy of the title of husband and wife that both you and your wife agreed on. but different strokes for different folks I guess.

Nope. My wife is way hot, cool, and an amazing mom. Couldn't imagine life without her

no kids. we have a great marriage, just the title is of limited value to us. hell, and we can call each other husband/wife without getting hitched. and that wedding was quite expensive.

if we had kids, I would feel differently.

i don't really care that much, but the wife and I have discussed it.

Nope.

There comes a time in life where you need to grow up.

Fwiw I do suggest holding off until 28-30 to get married.

Good luck holding off. I made it ten years then one day my wife was like "I think I might want a kid"....once the idea plants there is no turning back.

Not at all. My wife stuck with me through deployments and until I retired from the Army.

It's never as good or bad as people say. People do change over time so there is the chance for some to grow apart.

That's spot on. Many times It's people who married the person they were with at the time in life they thought others felt was the time in life to get married. I will give this to millennials, they do not fall into this trap. Maybe to the opposite extreme, but at least no one goes through that circus their way.

I had no doubts the woman I married was right. Still lived together a year before doing so. 17 years and 2 kids later, all good. We both even work from home and coexist minus an occasional printer battle and the week of the LSU/BAMA game where we keep conversations to a minimum
