Same thing can be said about Tom Brady

Except Tom didn't shite the bed year in year out in the playoffs.

Tom Brady was a part of dynasty when Peyton Manning's playoff problems began to become a running joke.

Larry Bird is tGOAT basketball player. don't tell me stats. I talk impact.

MJ is not even top 5. He's a product of marketing and timing. James worthy won him his ship in llege. He couldn't win an nba ship without pippen and league rigging. And he wouldn't win after baseball had it not been for rodman. Jordan leaves, illegal defense gets taken away thus making it impossible for any other guard to match his stats.

Ryan Leaf would have been the better pick for the colts. Leaf was better.

Instant replays should be eliminated in sports. Players get additional rest during these replays eliminating the need for proper conditioning, lessening the quality of the game. Players shouldn't leave a game up to the refs anyway.

ESPN has a progressive liberal agenda.

Basketball players should not be forced to play one year of llege. One and done ruins the integrity of llege and the game of basketball.

This is an awesome thread. It has given me and my buddies plenty to debate . I'll put my 2 cents in

The MMA stereotype of affliction wearing douche bags yelling KICK HIS arse is way overblown. The majority of fight fans are normal guys just like any other sport fans

Golfers are not athletes

2011 Alabama is the greatest college football team of all time

NBA basketball is easily the most entertaining sport to watch LIVE aside from maybe hockey. This is coming from a huge football fan

I'd rather watch an international soccer game than a regular season MLB game

id rather see a 7-3 defensive slug fest in football than a 52-49 air raid with pussy arse defenses

The World Cup is the greatest event in sports besides March madness

Lebron James is not top 5. Still have him behind Jordan, Bird, Wilt, Magic and Russell.

I think Bird is the most underrated legend in basketball today.

Major college football is feeling more and more corporate and "professional" and that is not a good thing.

I prefer to watch FCS over FBS. I enjoy the fact that every team in FBS has a legit shot to win a national title.

I hate NFL OT rules. I think both teams should have possession of the ball regardless.

Drew Brees is the best QB of all time.
There is no such thing as a number 1 receiver.
Arian Foster had all the stats in the world, but was an average back who ultimately accomplished nothing with the Texans.
I wish Louisiana had a NHL team.
Buck and Gruden are terrible announcers.

NASCAR should eliminate restrictor plates and ease restrictions so cars could hit 240-250 mph.

If the U.S. were in the same division as first world countries, that would be one thing. But soccer is all that countries like Costa Rica and Columbia have.
It's ridiculous to "woo woo" over beating those countries' teams. Let them have it.

U.S. should play it's second tier basketball players, at most, in the Olympics. Every 12-16 years, they can trot out a dream team, just in case anyone needs a reminder.

The much ballyhooed Cubs farm system has not been productive at all; in fact, the much maligned White Sox farm system has been as productive, if not moreso.*

(*Cubs are built on the production of OTHER teams' farms, acquired through some incredibly savvy trades, and the ability to take pitchers who were mediocre elsewhere, and turn them into above average producers).

I think they should abolish college scholarships for sports. return to the amateur world. it would stop cheating and the graduation ranks would spike.

Duke beating UNLV was the worst thing that happened to college basketball.

Jim Mora's Saints would have won a Super Bowl if they played in any other division than the NFC West.

I knew Lance Armstrong was a dick from day one.

Back in the day, Chris Berman was actually the best thing about ESPN.

Deadspin pretty much blows since Will Leitch left, except for the occasional Barry Petchesky article.
