Selfie gone wrong - lawsuit implications (legal question)

So, long story short here. I was at Pat O's a few months ago enjoying several hurricanes lol. Well, I definitely wasn't sober and was asked by a female who was part of a bachelorette party to take a picture of their group. Well, me being a drunken idiot decided to take a selfie of me first before I took a picture of their group. Well, during that selfie process I dropped her brand new iPhone and it shattered pretty bad.
Well, she was infuriated and it was definitely an awkward situation. I offered to buy her a new phone, but I said that it would take a few weeks as I don't have $800 laying around for a strangers phone.
I am now being threatened with a lawsuit since its been, what she calls "a considerable amount of time", and she still hasn't received any money for the phone.
Any advice would be appreciated.
TIA

She knew the risks when she handed a drunken stranger her phone.
Send her back a letter with that in it and another selfie. And a dick pic.

I dont think you are responsible for her giving you something in a drunken condition and it accidentally breaking.
Tell her to claim it on her Homeowners policy if she cant afford to get it on her own.
You dont know her, right? if so, then you dont need to respond

So the co-founder of Microsoft doesn't have 800 bucks?

So you gave your real name and contact info after dropping her phone?

If you break a strangers phone don't give them your real name or contact info.

Mail her a moto and call it a day.

If anything, you should've just fixed the screen. It's also the risk you take by handing a drunken stranger your phone.
Don't send a dick pick. Tuck it under, and send a fruit bowl pic.

The fact that anyone pays $800 for a phone that shatters when you drop it is ridiculous

Seriously though - new glass $125 or insurance deductible $199 is all this count is going to pay out anyway. NOBODY needs a brand new phone in this scenario.

Sounds like exhortation. Could just go out and buy her a cheap phone to go and call it a day.
