He's generally regarded as the best at his position. Ever.

What do you think?

Doesn't inherently make him a top 10 player all time.

Sure, but is Karl Malone in the Top 10? I don't think so.

exactly. PF is the weakest position, historically.

He's top 15 for sure. If you lean on his 4 championships, he's top 10.

Prime Garnett, for instance, matches up very well to Duncan

Being the best at his position doesn't automatically qualify him to be one of the best out of all players. Is the best guard or safety in the NFL automatically given a spot on the all time list based on his positional ranking? I don't think so.

Do you want me to bring up his stats against the spurs in the playoffs?

You can fairly have Duncan anywhere from 5-10 he is more or less tied with Bird Magic Kareem Lebron

Drop Malone/Hakeem and add KAJ/Oscar

Hard to leave out Russell but he was on a team so much better than everyone else his whole career you can't judge him by the 11 rings alone.

Kareem was great, but when I look back at Centers, I think wilt, hakeem, and prime shaq were all more dominant. Kareem played in a different Era, hakeem and shaq dominated the league at a time of ewing, david robinson, dikembe, alonzo mourning, and other very good big men. Kareem was a great player and incredibly dominant but I dont think he was better than those 3. Young shaq was unguardable and hakeem is probably the best all around big man ever skill wise.

We get it. Shaq was great. Shaq posted similar stats against everyone in the playoffs though. If Shaq wasn't a lazy SOB he would've been #2 behind Jordan.

I'm not. You said Tim made Shaq his bitch. Explain to me how that's possible when Shaq was like a 25/12 player in his playoff series vs the spurs?

the thing that made Duncan so great was his consistency. You never had a question on him showing up for a game.
