No SEC or Big 12 states. Maybe this is the real reason Colorado went to the Pac 12 (kidding of course)?

Here are the states where marijuana is legal for “medical use”:
Alaska
Arizona
California
Colorado
Connecticut
The District of Columbia
Delaware
Hawaii
Illinois
Maine
Maryland
Massachusetts
Michigan
Minnesota
Montana
Nevada
New Hampshire
New Jersey
New Mexico
New York
Oregon
Rhode Island
Vermont
Washington

Here are the states where marijuana is legal for recreational use:
Alaska
Colorado
The District of Columbia
Oregon
Washington

The south has traditionally been the most conservative area of the country, so no surprises here.

Alabama has legalized CBD oil for seizures. You have to be enrolled with a UAB study though.

So very true... Not to mention so very frustrating.

The "old south"...yeah, I could see your point, but today? I don't know the numbers but it seems to me that it is fairly common and not nearly as taboo as it once was. Then again, maybe it has always been this common around here but the older generation just hid it better or I was too young to notice?

I'm pretty sure medical marijuana exists in Mississippi bit it's very limited. I think it's only allowed for severe forms of epilepsy.

Good for them. I'm glad to see CBD getting more traction. The whole "medicine" aspect pisses me off when people are just looking for an excuse to get stoned and only care about the THC. CBD and THC both have their place in medicine, but don't hide behind that shite. It's annoying.

Yeah it may be legal in DC but Congress is using their control of DC's budget to prevent DC's government from actually putting in regulations and taxations into effect, so DC is in a bit of a weird position. It is messed up.

What is that you say Mr. Scientist?

This plant can be used for lumber, fibers, textiles, oils, clothing, plastics, etc...

And it's easily sustainable? And it can grow 100x more efficiently and with less space than trees?

And it had medical benefits? Like helping alzheimers patients and cancer patients and depression and anxiety?

And it's safe and impossible to overdose on for recreational use?

Make it illegal! It'll frick up the profit margins for the lumber, oil, clothing, and pharmaceutical industries!

It's a pretty benign substance that adults should have the freedom to use in the privacy of their own home. It directly hurts drug cartels, actually lowers rates of abuse, and makes it harder for minors to acquire. It destroys an unregulated black market, decreases our burgeoning and ludicrous prison population, and brings in hundreds of millions of tax dollars that are going towards funding schools.

There is literally no logical reason that this substance should be illegal, illicit, or demonized by Uncle Sam.

Also, it makes folding laundry tolerable.
