I'm on 5 years paper for some stupid bullshite, there's probably no one who hates cops, especially dirty ones, more than me. However, this guy was just being an idiot.
Hmmmm, I'm actually the opposite here. I tend to give cops the benefit of the doubt, but this looked like a classic case of cops fricking up to me.
Do they not teach PID to a motherfricking federal agency? That is inexcusable. Soldiers in a war zone could get prosecuted for something like this.

Ok, just to make it a little more simple for people, disregard the guy getting out and doing whatever. The guy still almost ran a cop over with a big freakin' truck. If you don't think that will get you killed, you're dumb, just like that guy was.

Man flees from police and the vehicle is stopped by force. Man gets out of car with hands up, police do not shoot. Man suddenly puts hands in jacket reaching for something while at gunpoint.
How are people trying to defend him? Are you that pussified that you're defending someone's life that clearly has no respect for his own life or the other lives he put in danger while fleeing?
If you were a cop would you risk getting shot and possibly never seeing your family again? Do you think he was reaching for a pack of gum? What would you reach in under your jacket for in this situation?
Im all for taking this piece of shite out.

The fact that they took the steps to release this video says a lot about the state of affairs in our country and the shaky ground our society rests upon.
This, regardless of what is shown is government propaganda that was released to offset rebel propaganda and cut off any potential ground swell of support for these farmers and the Bundys.
At its core, we've lost track of what this is even about. A family accidentally burned woodlands that were confiscated by the Feds and protected by EPA resulting in a ridiculous prison sentence. That opened the door for an idiot bunch to go out there and try and prove a point..... A valid point but starting a war was not the best way to get that message across

Why wouldn't he just come out guns a blazing from the get go? Also, It seems as if the officers asked him to empty his pockets, then started shooting him.
Not buying it.

He got out of that car pretty quick and was walking towards them pretty fast for being deep snow. Tried to pull out his weapon initially and failed. Was like "oh frick it's stuck" put his hands out for a second to play it off then tries for his gun again two more times. Seems like he turned and looked back at the car thinking his boys were going to get out guns blazin too. Yes he did run over a Federal Agent, although not sure why guy ran towards the truck. You can see him getting off the ground at around 9:21.

Looks like an ambush to me.
Following him by chopper? Waiting on him with the road blocked?

He wasn't trying to run anyone over. He was trying to avoid crashing into a roadblock set in a curve with high snow banks. He was speeding. All he could do. The agent running into his way was likely thinking the same thing.

I'd be curious to hear more of the standard between "his hands were moving in a risky way" and "we saw him pulling a visible weapon" for where police are good to use deadly force. But his actions are certainly the type that make it hard to want to defend him, atleast on the surface from a distance without audio.

Any possibility that he gets out with hands up, gets shot and is clutching the wound and then the fella from behind gives him the ole coup de grace?

And when cops are pointing guns at you, that is not a smart thing to do.

How can anyone defend this whacko?
He was illegally occupying federal property for a long time. Then, intentionally or not, he almost ran over an FBI agent after a car chase. If anyone with guns pointed at them puts their hands in their jacket/waist/pockets you're going to get shot

They pulled him over briefly before he decided to race away from them. Of course they set up a road block and he could have used his brakes instead of trying to steer around it.
