Just bought a new (used) truck and I have the option for satellite radio for the first time ever. Anyone here subscribe to it and is it worth the cost?

Not worth it. They play the same songs over and over. Maybe if you like Howard.

depends on how much you listen to radio as opposed to Itunes , CDs, etc. I think its worth it, but I wouldn't pay full asking price from Sirius/XM for it.

I got mine in 2006 and serius had a 200$ lifetime deal. It was 50$ a month for 4 months. I can move it to 5 vehichle throughout the course of my life. I'm on vehichle two now. Best purchase ever. They keep trying to get me to fall for a renewal though

Have it and love it. Never listen to regular radio...it's well worth it.

Just canceled mine. I find it to be too broad and I'm constantly flipping back and forth between stations. ESPN radio and Spotify are all I listen to anyway.

I got it. I renew every 6 months for 25.95 or something like that. It's 28.xx after tax. I just set a reminder to call them and cancel if they don't give me the same deal.

Truck. Worth it. I would pay whatever they ask. That's how important it is to me.

Don't never ever ever give them you credit card or debit card info to auto renew your account. I have them send me a paper bill in the mail or pay with a gift card. Have been paying $25 for 5 months for years. Set a reminder in your phone to cancel before the promotional rate runs out. They will offer a new deal or you can go ahead and cancel. You will get phone calls and emails to please come back for a cheap rate in a day or two.

Somehow they used my debit card from when I started service and started charging me for internet service 2 years ago. 2$ a month. Last May they cut my service. I called and they said I owed 22$. I disputed and it took a whole week of bitching them out to turn my lifetime on again. Thy are crooks and upset that I took their deal and they can't do anything about it

Only when I get a rental (which is lots). Its ok but if you live where there are lots of radio stations, stream off phone or use phone w/ MP3s I don't see the use.
If I lived up north where there are few stations I would get it. It is one of the std questions I ask when I get a rental truck up north - is the sat radio active? One time I had a job for 2 weeks in the middle of no where w/ a 90 min 1 way commute to site and sat radio lasted 2 days .... I listened to the wind for the next 2 weeks ......
