Nothing. You came to the rant. Maybe you should have lurked for a little while before posting so you would know what you were getting in to.
Also, don't take this board as representative of the entire LSU fanbase. Most of us are very pleasant.
Good luck to you in your coaching search and future seasons, whether it be with Les or someone else.

Miles is a very good leader and as someone mentioned, he's a great CEO coach.

You didn't do anything Wolverine. You asked a simple question. Nothing wrong with that at all. While I do appreciate the passion and the emotion behind some of the replies, some of them are out of line IMO.
I think Miles record speaks for itself. I don't think you get to 32-5 and are about to play in your second SECCG in 3 years if you aren't a good coach. Yes, we do have some talent, but a good coach knows how to use that talent. Sure, we sometimes question his judgment and his use or non use of some of these talented players, but that's why he's on the sidelines every week making these decisions. And he has never apologized to anyone for the decision he makes. He stands by his players, and stands by his convictions on the football field. I don't want him to leave, but will wish him all the best if he does.

Dude take these guy's comments with a grain of salt...
Honestly I think Les is a very good coach, he has done things or made calls that have had us Tiger fans kind of scratching our heads (like not running Scott more in the UK game) but for the most part he has pulled this team together and have them playing at the top of their game.
Yes we have a high penalty rate here lately and that has driven us crazy because it is dumb flags we get. If I say we feel the ref's are being a little heavy handed on us this year folks would say he is just whining, so I will just say our team needs to stop being so amped up in these games and play a little smarter.
I would love for Coach Miles to stay but would understand if he is offered his dream job and he takes it.
The only thing I hate is the timing and yes ALOT of people are pissed because of that.
It's no secret that Carr does not like Miles so the timing of the announcement just reeks.

You didn't say anything to get the grief you are getting. The Tiger Nation is just a little sensitive right now. The talk should be about a second championship opportunity in just 5 years, and how a 3rd championship and 10/11 SEC championship really puts LSU in the top 10/12 Elite programs and not just in the top 15. But instead it is all about Les and UM, and that talk has a way of hijacking seasons. So its not you, it is the situation. IMO - if Les is offered he is gone to Ann Arbor, but UM may look elsewhere. Good luck with you next coach.

While I don't exactly agree with all your points, there is nothing wrong with your thread starting post.
Try to ignore the children. Efforts are being made to contact thier parents to inform them of how thier kids are acting on the net.

I agree with one of the earlier post Miles surrounds himself with good coaches but it takes a good coach to hire good coaches. And he doesn't rush when making a hire he makes sure he has the right guy. He is a good coach

I haven't read past this comment ... I'm an LSU fan and was wondering the same thing! Please excuse them ... they're still hungover from the last game ... most of us are really nice people!
Oh, and regarding CLM, he's terrible ... awful ... no way do you guys want him ... oh, and he looks terrible in blue!
