Delaney is an idiot.
But things are moving forward. He said a few months ago that he wanted to add a 12th team and a conference title game.
Slowly but surely the Big Ten will accept a playoff. Just like the Pac Ten and Big Ten slowly accepted the BCS...

Ferentz' daughter goes to Michigan. Kirk himself was born in Michigan.
His son is a HS Senior, who has verbally committed to Iowa. If Kirk came here, the kid would likely go to Michigan ala Dan Hawkins kid Cody....

Another great thing for the Big Ten was Zook becoming HC at Illinois.
He's recruiting tremendous athletes and I think they'll rip through the conference next year.
This will force the likes of Michigan to actually start recruiting some speed on defense....
