I have more confidence that LSU can beat aTm at home and Ole Miss on the road than I do that LSU can beat Bama at T-Town. If LSU wants to get to ATL, they'll have to run the table. No way LSU is getting to ATL with a loss at Bama. Unless everyone shits the bed.

Again, if A&M beats Bama, then its very easy for LSU to get to ATL with a loss @Bama. If LSU beats A&M, Ole Miss, Arkansas and UF, and A&M beats Bama, then LSU is in Atlanta regardless of the outcome of the LSU/Bama game. The end.

There are no other games that would affect whether or not LSU won the west, no bed shitting necessary.

What's the point of this whole exercise if we aren't allowed to make certain assumptions?

You said that LSU couldn't make it to ATL without beating Bama. That is very false.

Obviously LSU can lose to any of the teams left, and if they do then this whole discussion is moot anyway.

We're not getting to ATL without beating Bama anyway, so we all agree we're going to have to give them their 2nd loss anyway.

You dont get it. we could beat Bama and still not go to ATL.
We also have to beat the refs, the SEC offices, and the pollsters when it comes to Bama.
NEVER. ROOT. FOR. BAMA.

By your responses to the disagreements, I am starting to think you are just trolling.

I actually dislike A&M more than Bama, but I know it is in LSU's best interest if Bama takes a 2nd loss in the SEC. Sure, other losses are possible - but beating Bama in Tuscaloosa is the most difficult game left on our schedule.

If A&M were to come to Tiger Stadium with the SEC-West on the line, I think LSU would be twice as likely to win that game than winning at Bama with the SEC-West title on the line. No contest.

Never root for Bama.

Heads up with A&M at home is what I'm rooting for shall we both be undefeated.

Hope Bama loses every game they play no matter what.

We need Bama to win this weekend.

Team A (Game in Tiger Stadium)
allows:
5.63 yards/rush (conference only)
7.4 yards/pass (conference only)

Team B (Away Game)
Allows:
3.46 yards/rush (conference only)
6.5 yards/pass (conference only)

which game would you rather our SEC destiny rest on?

Due to their strong passing game and bama's weakish secondary, A&M matches up better against them than we do.
Due to our strong secondary, and power run game, We match up better against A&M than Bama does.

Not kinda. They do control their own destiny. If they win out, they win the division no matter what else happens.

so does bama

Nope. They need Ole Miss to lose again.

If A&M (or anyone else) beats Bama, LSU can lose to Bama and still get to ATL as long as we don't lose to anybody else.

Everyone else shitting the bed is irrelevant. How would that help us win the division over Bama after losing to them?

Bama having 2 losses would knock them out of the SECW race and make it a 2-team battle between LSU & A&M.

Nobody is assuming that. People are saying we have a better chance against Ole Miss and A&M than at Bama. Since Bama is our most likely loss, it's better for us for them to lose to A&M.

A couple of teams will control their own destiny no matter what. The only question is who it will be. Would you rather it be Bama, or A&M/Ole Miss? I'd rather it be A&M/Ole Miss.
