You're assuming that Ole miss and aTm can't beat us. They absolutely can. This way reduces the ammount of odds the other teams control their own destiny.

No one assumed that. In saying that we "need" Bama to win this weekend, you're assuming that we're going to lose to one of those teams.

There's no doubt about it, beating A&M in Tiger Stadium is an easier task than beating Alabama in Tuscaloosa. We can't count on Bama to go full retard against us like they did against Ole Piss. So if you've got your panties in a bunch worrying about what outcomes give LSU the easiest road to winning the West, then you're wrong.

Personally, I'm not worried about getting the easiest road to Atlanta. I'm going to enjoy the fact that LSU is undefeated, and until that changes, I'm just gonna keep rooting for us to go 1-0 week after week. I do hope Bama loses this week, but only because I think it might give Saban an aneurysm and I think that'll be funny. Plus, I think ruining A&M's undefeated season in Tiger Stadium would be a fitting end to my Thanksgiving weekend.

NOPE. We need Bama to lose, then as long as we beat A&M (even if we lose to Bama) we still win the SEC West if we take care of the rest of our schedule as well.

I feel MUCH better with our odds vs the ags than I do with our odds vs bama at home.

We have a better chance of beating A&M at home than we do Alabama at Tuscaloosa.

Wrong. And here is why-

If Bama wins, then (assuming the three teams win out otherwise) LSU must beat both Bama and A&M.

If A&M wins, then LSU only has to beat A&M (again, assuming the 3 teams in this scenario win all their other games).

Having to beat A&M only is an easier path than A&M + Bama.

How dumb are you?

If Bama beats aTm there's a good chance they finish with 1 loss. With that, they would win the West because of head-to-head over everyone else.

If aTm wins, LSU can lose to one of Bama/OM/Arky and still win the West.

It's really not that complicated. An aTm win gives LSU some cushion. A Bama win does not.

Only one of them will be in control of their destiny when we play them, because they have to play each other before that. All three of these games will be hard-fought, so I don't what you're talking about there. BY FAR, the biggest threat to win the division over us is Alabama. BY FAR. Therefore, it is in our best interests for them to lose any time they play. It's really very simple. NEVER. ROOT. FOR. BAMA.

We're not getting to ATL without beating Bama anyway, so we all agree we're going to have to give them their 2nd loss anyway.

We get to atlanta without beating bama by beating a&m and ole miss if Bama has a second loss

Here is my philosophy. Root for no one but Tigers and simply watch others with keen eye toward how they exploit weaknesses of opponent. LSU had better only be concerned with Florida and the rest will play out regardless of how we root for or against other teams. As long as we win Saturday night we control our destiny. Lose and we don't. Bottom line. Don't get distracted by shiny objects.

First, fought not faught

Second, No. If you agree with the premise that we are most likely to lose to Bama out of the remaining games we have, then you have to root for them to receive their second loss.

You dumb bro. Bama Loss to A&M then it doesnt matter what happens in our game with Bama, beat Ole miss, Arky and then have a Showdown for the west with A&M at home on the last game. Our chances are much higher that way.

I could never pull for Alabama. Then again, I could never pull for A&M. Just nice knowing one of their fanbases will be devastated Saturday.

But dang, there's nothing more satisfying than a crying gump.

Wow, you really refuse to understand this.

If Bama wins, then Alabama and the winner of the Ole Miss vs A&M game are both still a threat to win the West. That's still 2 teams. It makes no difference.
