I preface this by saying I'm just now starting to do my due diligence, lol...
He had a good second half...with no hillman or ball. His ADP is NINE! That's a lil high for a guy that will be splitting carries at best 60/40 don't you think? Worse case, Hillman takes his job back.

ETA: TradeEval
ok, well let me ask y'all this... keeper league...
TRADE: Anderson for the #1 overall.
Anderson is yours for life or until you trade/drop him. yay/nay?

One of the "experts" on ESPN has him as his top rated player. It just reeks of a guy who loses his job midway through the season, I wouldn't touch him. He's not supremely talented like Jeremy Hill or the like, it's more of an opportunity thing here.

Kubiak doesn't have a history of splitting carries between his backs. Foster didn't split and neither did Forsett.

I think he is rated slightly higher than he should be, but I see alot of justification for him as a top 10 back. Gase is gone, and the offense may be slightly adjusted, but he should produce pretty well under Kubiak's offensive scheme with Peyton Qbing.

He is a 3 down back. Manning's running backs usually produce pretty well in fantasy. Also, his backup is Montee Ball. If you have paid any attention to Ball over the last two years, you know he is not a good running back and isn't just gonna take the job from Anderson. Hilliman is 3rd team.

I have him in that jumble of Murray, Forte, Lynch, and McCoy.

he may not be supremely talented but he's a good fit for Kubiak's offense....Oh yeah and was pretty damn productive when he got his shot last year.

I can easily see him outperforming some of the RBs being drafted ahead of him

It's mostly based off what Kubiak typically does with running game

And maybe protection for Manning

Was never Hillman's job.

To answer your question, it's the system and playing with Peyton. Just like the hype with Monte Ball last year, except Ball was a garbage can. Anderson can play.

Montee Ball was doing well against top NFL defenses before he got hurt. Not to mention he came back not 100%. IMO, I don't think Anderson finishes the season as the Broncos starter, both him and Ball are 24 years old and Anderson doesn't even have a full season under his belt.

I actually prefer drafting Ball late and cashing in on him than using a 1st on a unproven thing.

Freaked out by him and Hill. I'd rather draft a WR or another RB available.

Montee cant catch a ball and his pass protection is terrible compared to the other backs. It should be CJ's job unless he gets injured. That manning effect worked well for sanders last year.. If cj stays healthy, he should be top 5-7 guy

That's not really true.

Ball is also not a good fit for Kubiak's system and he's having to fight off Hillman to even win the back up job.

I'll bet you anything the only way Anderson loses that job is by injury and not performance.

Monte Ball. Whoever is the main rb there will be a top 10 rb as long as manning keeps playing at a high level. The only reason he came on last year was injuries. I wouldn't put much faith in him. I also think that manning has to eventually at some point fall off.
