Ball was doing horrible last year when he started the season compared to expectations. It wasn't until he got hurt and Hillman took the majority of carries that owners got something of what they expected from manning's rb.

Ball cant pass protect or catch a pass. Not in mannings best interest to have him back there...

For one he's WAY more talented than Monte Ball. He can pass protect and catch, which puts him more in favor of Peyton. Kubiak has said he wants a "bell-cow" back for the season. The O-line is talented in the run game with a favorable schedule. Peyton is digressing and will have trouble throwing the ball around playoff time meaning more carries/similar numbers of CJ at that same time last year.

And as insurance, take Hillman in the later rounds instead of Monte Ball. I would not waste any pick in the draft on Monte Ball (no I did not draft him last year)

I have a feeling this thread will be eerie similar to the Ellington threads from last season.

So do you guys prefer Hill over Anderson? because that's who I took at the 17th overall pick. CJ went right before Hill.

RBs went off the board really quick and my first pick was Antonio. Hill kinda scares the frick out of me.

Not me. I think he is a top 5 talent in the game and it will show this year. I'm probably going to end up getting him in most of my leagues because of where I have him ranked.

Montee Ball was doing well against top NFL defenses before he got hurt. Not to mention he came back not 100%. IMO, I don't think Anderson finishes the season as the Broncos starter, both him and Ball are 24 years old and Anderson doesn't even have a full season under his belt.

I actually prefer drafting Ball late and cashing in on him than using a 1st on a unproven thing.

Now I know Anderson will definitely be the bell cow all season.

I am assuming kubiak is going to run his zone blocking scheme?

I think he's a 1200 yard back who can catch 50 passes. Hillman is a change of pace & ball is just a backup

I mean that very well could happen. But I'm making an educated guess that won't be the case simply based on health, eye test, and the system Ellington/CJ run.

Compare Kubiak's running back production the past five years with the Cardinal's RB production

have him in that jumble of Murray, Forte, Lynch, and McCoy.

This is mind blowing to me. You have a guy in this bunch who has been the stud in his offense for the last three years and has only gotten better. How Forte has suddenly become mid tier back is blowing my mind. I have the 7th pick in a 12 man league and I am blown away I'll get a shot at forte.

I know it means not really anything at this point, but it seems that the Bear's offense is going to change a lot with less dump offs and screens. I still like Forte, but I would pick him around his ADP and not any higher

I mean you'd have to expect a regression on his receptions from last year, but he's been a factor in the passing game before Trestman, and he will be now.

You're getting about a 1,000 yards rushing tops out of Forte who isn't a consistent 100 yard week to week rusher and his receiving production will drop dramatically. And I didn't even mention he's about to hit 30 which is doom and gloom for most RBs not named AP.

I have a ton of question marks with the Bears offense outside of Jeffrey
