That doesn't mean Anderson will be a stud this season. He's not worth the gamble of a high draft pick

How's that Ball love treating you?

ETA: I picked up Anderson for $45 and Forte for $42 in my 12 team auction today. All of the other "top tier" backs went for $60+. I was very pleased with myself.

Yall remember that time that tzimme said Montee Ball was going to take over as the main man in Denver?

I never said he would be the main man in Denver. I said there was a possibility him, Hillman or Thompson could easily find playing time in Denver. That's why I said it was better to take a guy late like Ball or Hillman (depending when your draft was) mine was two days ago so Ball was irrelevant for the time being.

You're writing off Ball who's only 24 years of age, the same age as Anderson who hasn't even played a full season in the NFL yet.

This season will be great.

Montee Ball was doing well against top NFL defenses before he got hurt. Not to mention he came back not 100%. IMO, I don't think Anderson finishes the season as the Broncos starter, both him and Ball are 24 years old and Anderson doesn't even have a full season under his belt.

He played against the Chiefs, Seahawks and Cardinals defense before he got hurt last season. Those are top run defenses. He also got double digit points against a Colts defense in week 1.

zimme if you're going to lie, try not to do it in threads where your bullshite is a mere few pages back.

You were clearly trying to make the case for Ball

IMO at his ADP, he's the best choice. Demarco Murray screams ACL, out for the season, by game 3. His injury history and the number of carries he took last year make it seem highly likely. Forte i think is set for a down year. He's getting older, I think he has good receiving threats around him, not sure about their o line. Lesean McCoy is going from the #2 o line to a worse one, I think he has bust potential as well as potential of being vultured by Tyrod Taylor's rushing ability
On the other hand, I think CJ will not split carries (Kubiak history with Foster and others), I think Denver has a good O line and running scheme, and I don't think Peyton will be able to pass as much this year. Plus what they did last year was impressive and I expect to see more of it

Eta: This is what he edited out:

Write off Ball all you want, but he'll play a factor in the running game for the Broncos. Their backfield has always been musical chairs.
