I usually just wear my regular Oakley sunglasses while mowing or trimming. I figure they're good enough to block any debris that might fly up. I did have a scare the other day when my mulch cover popped off, thanks to a big stick that I was too lazy to get off and move. I had a nice big lap full of grass.

*This question is for the few OTers who actually mow their own yard.

Due to my allergies I'll wear my prescription sunglasses instead of my contacts. So yes.

I always wear sunglasses. Partly for sun partly for safety.

I do when I use the weed eater, but not when using the mower.

Shades for the sun, not for protection from grass.

I was weed eating without eye protection when I was 18. Rock shoots out and hits me in the eye. I spent several hours in the ER and I saw several eye doctors. I lost some vision in my right eye.

I now wear eye protection when I weed eat and mow. I wish I would have been smarter when I was younger.
