No need when I'm on the mower but I'm finally useing my sense and wearing glasses while I trim. Hitting a crawfish hole with no glasses will make anyone tap out!

No, I have prescription glasses that seem to do the job. But I probably need to wear a mouthpiece when weed eating. I have had a small rock and wooden mulch him be pretty hard in the mouth. The mulch actually made my lip bleed. I puff my mouth and cheeks out actually now, to provide cushion.

Reel mower, weedeater, edger, blower

I don't need it with the mower, but the other three are no question. I don't want to be 60 answering every question with, "Whaaa!?!?"


ETA: I wish I had done more when I operated a zero turn on a crew. Wasn't my best decision.

no eye protection when on the lawnmower...but I do wear hearing protection every time...

I do wear eye protection without fail when I am weedeating, though...

Always when mowing and trimming. My step grandmother lost an eye mowing when a small piece of rock was thrown by the mower and ricocheted off the side of their house.

I usually mow barefoot.


eta: I guess sometimes I wear shades, didn't even think of that as protection
