So I just watched the video. Doyle did park his vehicle at his home. Gonzales it seems pulled in front of Doyle's neighbor's home at confronted Doyle.
There are a lot of details to be hashed out but based on this limited evidence, I would have a hard time convicting Doyle.
Oh, and the "he was following him to get his address" is either incredibly stupid or an outright lie. I would take a guess that its the latter. All Gonzales had to do was give the police Doyle's license plate number and that would give them the address.

Thanks...I guess. I am just wealthy as shite and get bored now that I am just a freaking figurehead who nobody wants to see except at monthly P&L meetings. I just want to fish, frick or fight these days! Lunchbox head seems a good candidate for a McLeverage fistburger.
**** never mind. I see now you were saying lunchbox head was a subtle troll. I was wondering why you you were calling me a troll.

Id love to know how having a correct legal view point on the situation and not speculating is trolling?
That bullshite thread about cars you made yesterday, that's a troll.

Like I said, people like you scare me. Cite a law, any applicable law, that justifies Doyle's actions. I'll wait.

What makes you think you have the correct legal viewpoint?

The evidence. That shooting isn't justified. Sorry.

Stand your ground?
If he gets convicted it will be manslaughter at the worst...wont serve more than 5-7 yrs in prison.

If Doyle was a cop, he would not be charged with anything.

State attorney says stand your ground doesn't apply. Anything else?

You mean attorneys?

That didn't take long:
Florida Statute
quote:
776.012 Use or threatened use of force in defense of person.—
(1) A person is justified in using or threatening to use force, except deadly force, against another when and to the extent that the person reasonably believes that such conduct is necessary to defend himself or herself or another against the other’s imminent use of unlawful force. A person who uses or threatens to use force in accordance with this subsection does not have a duty to retreat before using or threatening to use such force.
(2) A person is justified in using or threatening to use deadly force if he or she reasonably believes that using or threatening to use such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony. A person who uses or threatens to use deadly force in accordance with this subsection does not have a duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground if the person using or threatening to use the deadly force is not engaged in a criminal activity and is in a place where he or she has a right to be.
Its your basic reasonability standard.

First, that's not for the State Attorney to decide.
Second, that's only one part of Florida's self defense statute. Stand Your Ground wasn't invoked in the Zimmerman trial and he was still found not guilty due to reasons of self-defense.

Question to OT road rage folk, I mean those who take traffic personally and do more than cuss. Like trying to get revenge on the car/truck you feel slighted you somehow. What gives? What are you hoping to accomplish?
I'll hang up and listen.

I still don't think that's going to mean anything when it comes to the 3 shots in the fricking back. Stop ignoring that little nugget.

The 911 calls and location of the confrontation aren't going to play out in his favor. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you're a defense attorney. How else could you possibly think he committed no crime?

This has almost nothing in common with Trayvons.

That's because Zimmerman had physical injuries that indicated a struggle. Big difference in this case hombre.

The motivation is actually three-fold:
1. Show that motherfricker what's up
2. Make sure motherfricker knows I ain't no bitch, and
3. Let that motherfricker know I ain't taking no shite and/or am not some bitch to frick with.

It's going to depend on forensics. If it's found that the four shots were fired in rapid succession then it plays in Doyle's favor. If its shown that shots were fired at point blank, then at 10 feet, then at 20 feet and so on, then Doyle's got more of a problem.
