Honestly, I'd go by a used vehicle and tell them to keep it

And sincerely not take it back under any circumstances

It won't get any better young lad. I'm 39, my mother asked my wife of 16 years why she spends all MY money.

fricking leave it in the driveway and go buy your own. Trust me, she'll call in a month or so.

My thoughts exactly. Tell her that if it's hers, pay the bill. Just go car shopping and she may have an oh shite moment. That sucks. Hate when parents act like they know best and end up doing dumb shite.

You're staying at home right? There's your problem...their house, their rules. If you truly expect independence, then you should be independent.

It's paid for. We paid the total amount and I'm paying them $1000 a month. I'm kinda screwed because it's in their name. But I'm writing fat arse checks for my truck.

I'm a straight college student with a full ride and a 3.39 GPA. I don't do drugs, and I have a chemical engineering internship that drug tests so I couldn't if I wanted to.

You sound like a bitch. Your mom and dad probably pay for your tuition and rent.

Just because you buy your Affliction crap and put gas in your jacked up Ford Ranger doesn't mean shite. Go do some dishes and be thankful that your mom and dad don't throw your ungrateful arse on the street.

I can tell you never had a tuition because I've stated twice that I have a full ride scholarship and you still can't read.

A few questions....

1. Who wiped your arse when you couldn't wipe it yourself?
2. Who fed you when you couldn't feed yourself?
3. Who took care of you when you were sick?
4. Who put clothes on your back?
5. Who gave you a roof over your head?
6. Who carried you around in their womb for nine months while you wrought havoc on her body?
7. Who comforted you when you were scared as a kid?
8. Who had little on Christmas morning while you had a pile of presents?
9. Who was the only person totally impressed at every shitty drawing you brought home from 1st grade?
10. Who always made sure every birthday you had as a kid was awesome?

Yeah, how about instead of being an ungrateful, disrespectful insolent little shite, you instead go home thank the woman who literally gave you life. And then tonight get down on your knees and thank the lord that you've not lived to see the day when you're standing over a casket looking down at her and every stupid thing you've ever done to hurt or disrespect her comes flooding back. And at that moment, you'll remember what it's like to be a scared little boy, crying, wanting your momma. And you'll want nothing more than one more chance to apologize to her for every little thing you've ever done. But then it's too late.

So it's not your truck....

Best thing I learning when coming home from college, make nice with the parents and get a free dinner before you make other plans.
