She is asserting her dominance as the alpha in their home.

Mom and dad are still paying for his rent, books, meals, etc. probably has a nice condo and a gas card. Whiny little girl.

I have a full ride to college so all that is paid for. And my scholarship also pays for housing

Good post. One of the main reasons I've done well is because my parents were, in my adolescent eyes, hard asses. Unbelievable hard asses in many respects. Now, in my forties I see so many friends who underachieved when they started out with more than I did because of lax parenting.

Give an example of where you can and can't go. Elaborate on your hardship.

This is easy. Tell her your coming to get it and have your keys for you when you get there. If she balks at this, just say fine it's in your name you pay the notes. Then go drop the insurance and tell your mom either pay the note or let it wreck her credit.

Yeah, how about instead of being an ungrateful, disrespectful insolent little shite, you instead go home thank the woman who literally gave you life. And then tonight get down on your knees and thank the lord that you've not lived to see the day when you're standing over a casket looking down at her and every stupid thing you've ever done to hurt or disrespect her comes flooding back. And at that moment, you'll remember what it's like to be a scared little boy, crying, wanting your momma. And you'll want nothing more than one more chance to apologize to her for every little thing you've ever done. But then it's too late.
Sorry if your mom died dude, but if you're in college and your parents are trying to twist your arm into doing shite you don't want to, you need to break free. I'd start preparing to move out, immediately. Then go find a used vehicle and leave them with the truck. They'll keep using it against you if you let them.

Jeez. You seem mad about this truck situation as well. Upset you're not gonna get that BJ in parents' truck this weekend?

And the more I think about it, the ins. stuff doesn't make much sense.
Have tall actually investigated this? I sold cars for two years and I have a 19 year old driver aty house. As far as I know, the insurance rate is the same whether or not you own the vehicle or its just you being on your parents policy.

Because I didn't feel like my parents would go insane. If I needed something they would have keys just incase.
A ride is cheaper than a DUI

It's paid for. We paid the total amount and I'm paying them $1000 a month. I'm kinda screwed because it's in their name. But I'm writing fat arse checks for my truck.
How can you afford a grand note as a college student?

Scamming the insurance company. He doesn't live with them so they don't have to list him as a driver.
Trashy.
