You can set it to be on 24/7. I like knowing I have a camera on while my car is parked.

no. It comes with long enough power cable where you can wire directly into fuse panel.

Continue with the UP, DOWN, and round Red button for minute and second until you are back at the menu screen. Press the Menu button again, and you can verify that the correct time is shown on the bottom right corner of the LCD display

My buddy has it and its a better dashcam for sure.

Can turn mic off, has motion detection for use at night.


Then another one I like records front and rear.

So I'd be able to just plug it into my cigarette plug(constant power even when on/off) and it would stay on 24/7? If so I'm in.

No, your cig port is turned off when you stop the engine. It sounds like he's saying it comes with a cable to run to the fuse box to provide constant power (similar to your dome light).

I have an F250, 12v plugs have constant power even with the engine shut off.

Gotcha, our only always-on cig port is in the very rear of the van and my car is too old for that shite.

You should be good to go then.
