The SRX.

Pilot's have a horrible crash rating and I wouldn't own one.

Ahhh....
Wife thinks the pilots look like a mini van

I will definitely have her look at them... I'm trying to narrow it down to 3 or less to drive. I don't want to be up and down airline hwy looking at these things.

The base engine in the SRX is 306 HP.

The only vehicle in it's class that is a slightly better crash rating is the Volvo, but it is way behind on UI.

The baby complains that you have to get up way high in the rev band for all the power, but that's OK with me.

And he traded that for a RR.
This is the opposite of what should happen.

Just joking with you, T. Best of luck with the Rover.

Wife has 2012 LC. She had a 2004 before that with 239,000+ on it. I miss it. Loved that car. New one has 5.7 and rides 3x better but doesn't feel the same to me.

Also, I recomend marrying money if possible.

Lexus RX. Just traded up from a 2000 RX I had for 15 years. Ultra reliable.

Nice Lady car. Kinda weak in the haul arse department. However, the all wheel drive worked fine in most conditions and decent tow capability.

Not the same vehicle as the Highlander even though they share engine, etc. one drive will show you the difference.

Acura RLX is nice too. Better pep in the step. But Smaller cargo capacity. RX has mucho cargo space.

Can't stand my wife's RX350. I just don't like it personally. Nothing wrong with it and she loves it.

RX all day. Holds it value better than any other vehicle on the market for a reason. Go to Price Leblanc and ask to look at their loaner RXs. You'll get killed if you buy one new, the new retail is inflated, after you wash that off its all gravy from there. Was in your boat 2 years ago, and glad I bought the RX instead of Toyota, Acura, Nissan, or Infiniti.

2012 Yukon at the moment but she seems to be getting the new car itch.
She's already decided she wants the Cadillac SRX next go around.

A sedan, manual 5 series, since I think they are safer and drive better than SUVs. She almost killed herself in our 4Runner, so this one has an appropriate center of gravity.

She drives the little Mercedes SUV now. We've been talking about getting her a Subaru Outback.

My wife drives a 2004 highlander limited, bought new, now has 133K miles on it. Still looks and drives great. I keep asking her if she wants a new car and she is perfectly content to keep it. No issues at all, just standard maintenance. Damn I love that women.

You can't go wrong with either choice. They are made by the same folks.

Mine had a Highlander (2007 I think), then a Tahoe, now a Yukon XL. I got tired of listening to her talk about how she never had enough room for the children and all of her stuff, and refuse to have a vehicle sit in my driveway that can't pull a trailer.
