Bib and jacket..... more flexibility and u can take either the bottom or top off if I get hot.

If it is real cold, I use coveralls. They to me trap more body heat in. I use both, but that is how I go about what to wear.

You can shed the jacket easily if you get too hot.

Why not just wear pants and a jacket? I never did understand the bib concept of outerwear.

Insulated bibs pay off in really frigid conditions. In most circumstances I'm with you in wearing pants and a jacket.

The bib covers up the area between your pants and jacket, you can lose a lot of heat there.

If it's really cold I get my coveralls. If it's sort of cold bib and jacket.

Bins and Jacket. Never had a pair of coveralls that fit very well. All seemed too short in the body.

Pants and Jacket with proper layering. I hate coveralls. Worst thing ever if layering and then sitting.

I have bibs and jacket but I'm considering going to coveralls again in the future. I hate walking in and climbing in bibs but they're great once you're settled and cooled off. I usually carry in my jacket half of the time anyway. Thinking about switching to coveralls and just carrying them in and donning them once I get settled in so I don't sit in a pile of ball sweat all morning.

Bibs and jacket. Coveralls pinch the boys if you know what I mean.
