We get catered lunches fairly often. No sandwiches or crap like that. No potato chips. Everything should be homemade. My personal favorite is when they bring in Chicken Stew. I think Ashley Manor brings it, good chit.

We get catered lunch from reps everyday of the week. Sandwiches and jambalaya get boring and redundant... as does red beans. I like the pulled pork tacos idea. That would be a treat and something different.

Jam will be a treat for them. I've served Mobile people before. They'll love it...they'd yawn at crab salad.

I eat catered doc lunches basically daily. In general the favorites are cold, light foods. Sandwiches (homemade turkey clubs, italian, etc), salad, pita with hummus, kabobs, wraps, etc. You'll be feeding more women than men I'm sure.

Yes, more women than men, but it's the male drs that are the ones he's trying to impress. No one really gives a shite what the women think of lunch.

Good pimento cheese is good. It's not just for old folks anymore.

I brought two pimento cheese sandwiches to my round Saturday.

Everybody ate a half, and said it was good.
We're in our mid 30's.

A little fresh chopped or roasted jalapeño in it is darn tasty.

I put put a bowl of that with crackers when a few friends came by for drinks. Not a drop left.

fine addition.

This month's issue of Louisiana Kitchen has a pimento cheese sausage balls recipe. Looks good. Smoked sausage and buttermilk in the mix.
