Except the fact that Bosh played 34 minutes, Wade played 33 minutes, Allen played 32 minutes, Duncan played 33 minutes, Parker played 37 minutes, Diaw played 32 minutes, and Ginobili played 32 minutes. LeBron played 33 before he stayed out. So yeah, about that.

I don't think even with LeBron they could have stopped the barrage of 3s. It was just going in for them.

Now game 2, that is going to be interesting. SA limits their turnovers and stay hot, this is going to be bad news.

The Spurs probably knew ahead of time, the NBA needed to make sure everything went to plan in Game 1 and stayed on script. The Heat are good enough to defeat any scripted losses so they had to make extra sure.

Wasn't there some dome team in the MLB playoffs (maybe Rays?) that opened doors to make a headwind for the visitors? Maybe I'm thinking Metrodome & kickers eitherway
giants/jets used to do it in old giants stadium. They'd open the doors connecting the field and the parking lot to allow in swirling winds when the opponent was trying to kick FGs

I dunno. I rarely buy into conspiracy theories, but LeBron has wellknown cramping issues and it is not hard to figure out that is you turn off the ac, there is a high probability LeBron is going to cramp up.

I think it is possible it was intentional. Don't really care though. The Celtics did the same to the Lakers in the 80s in the garden. My old high school bball coach did the same every game as well. The ac was turned off for every home game we played my senior year.

It's gamesmanship in a way and has been part of the nba at times for decades.

I mean it doesn't matter, they won't be doing it again and now that LeGoat is pissed a blowout is coming tomorrow night. Heat will still win in 5, and the no ac game was entertaining, so it's all good.

jr highs have AC gyms. Are you trying to speculate professional basketball players ever play in non air conditioned, indoor courts?

Miami May be humid as sin, but they don't play professional basketball outdoors. Ever.
