We had a tournament at Ole Miss one summer and apparently they forgot to turn on the A/C in the Tad Pad. It was miserable.
Every player asked about it after the game said they have played in a similar situation before. Chris Bosh laughed it off and reminded the media members he is from Dallas.
Both teams had to deal with the heat. It doesn't make any sense for this to be some dubious plan Pop put in place to give LeBron cramps.
They've been prepping for this rematch for a year now. They don't want revenge based off a technicality.
