Can somebody help me out? If LSU loses, do they play a second elimination game.

No, its winner take all

Ok. Thanks. How is that possible? I see Fl already lost one. I appreciate the info.

Its a 12 team tourney. The entire thing can't be double elimination. Would take 3 weeks to finish
Posted on 5/25/14 at 2:01 pm to Bushwackers
A full double elimination 12 team tourney would be too many games.

Championship has always been 1 game. The past 2 years the semi finals have also been single elimination because of the tournament now starting on Tuesday.

Whatever they need to do to fit their agenda!

I'd imagine thats good news for Miami and Ole Miss. Its pretty cryptic.
Kind of like last year emphasizing Top 25 and 50 and giving one to a team that was 6-10 in these metrics.

The committee makes it up as it goes along. Next year they will have other criteria to focus on to get their brand of teams into the favored spots.

Strange statement, but it could mean many things..."LSU isn't out if they lose Sunday."..."Big12 loser isn't necessarily out with a loss"...."Miami is ok."..Or could having nothing to do with national seeds at all.
Surely surely surely it doesn't pull USC back into the picture. Hyman was AD at USC. I'd be pissed.

Both teams lost 2 games in the conference tourney but won divsions in the 1st and 3rd conferences and in Miami's case won the regular season.
KR's message is pretty cryptic in meaning as stated in above posts.
