Or they could be saying simply "our intent is not to punish anyone for tourney losses but more to reward other equally-deserving teams that have tourney wins."

It should be interesting tmrw. Now with Washington choking two away at home to UCLA there are rumblings of Texas or Houston being a traveling 1.
All the teams are so close I never would have thought LSU could jump 10 or 12 RPI spots in this amount of time.

Not necessarily...in all likelihood lsu would be headed to TCU/ULL/Rice if we don't get Top8
That said, I find it hard to believe we won't get a NS now unless the committee uses that "half the story" blind resume test that totally excludes conference, conference tourney, finish, and counts SOS as a seperate category by itself

it is only seed through 8 so it is possible that the #1 gets the worst super matchup.

I don't think LSU get's higher than a 7 seed. Miami isn't a seed.
