The high fertility rates among Hispanic and black teens are great for small businesses that depend on inexpensive, desperate labor supplies.

Likewise, the DNC needs this overstock of inexpensive labor for the sake of exploiting their cries of underpay and lack of benefits to provide the party with a reliable voting bloc from cradle to grave.

Thanks for the thoughtful, well-reasoned opinion. You're bringing a lot to the table in this debate.

There's a decline in families across the board. Not just blacks

No, but AAs have lower access to healthcare than most. I'm saying instead of advertising the pill or condoms (many of which these people have never been taught to use - trust me, I taught a sex ed class in NOLA east) we should instead use more long term methods, ie implants.

Also, the only advertisements here for Planned Parenthood is the anti-PP bullshite about it killing babies and abortion being murder. That's now the perception.

"Planned Parenthood? You mean that place that kills babies?"

If the KKK had set out to destroy the nuclear family as a viable component of the black community in 1960, it couldn't have done a more effective job than 50+ years of white guilt liberalism and the Democratic Party.

Truth.

Free birth control would go a long, long way, specifically the implants.

Free birth control has been widely available since at least the 80's. I remember the first time I saw a real pack of birth control pills was when a girl in my school pulled them out of her purse to show her girl friends. She told them all you have to do was go to the county health department and tell them you were sexually active and they'd put you on "the pill" right then and there. This was 1987 in rural north Alabama where the black population was about 5% tops. Free birth control has not helped shite.

Yeah, but has anyone here actually gone to an impoverished high school lately and asked about birth control? These kids are clueless. None of them know about planned parenthood except for the abortion issue, and NONE of them know you can get BC for free. You guys can mock me as living under a rock all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that kids in our high schools are being raised without any knowledge of how birth control works, not even a condom.

You realize that some men end up taking the pill, because they think that's how it works? Also there are women who will just take one on the days they have sex. Others insert them vaginally. I'm not kidding.

Since most of these "dads" aren't pulling their weight in society and living off the government tit also how about we cut their subsidies and give it to the kid then the drain on the public is a net 0.

I love this idea.

This has to be the outlier, even street trash isn't this dumb. Maybe if they actually attended the health class at the school they wouldn't be sticking birth control in their arse.

But that doesnt fit the collective narrative of the southern white male. If its cultural that just makes their head hurt, if its racial they can put in a fresh dip and feel good about their station in life. Oh and RTR.

Lakeboy7 why do you ask for facts if you're simply going to ignore them?

The young generation is caught up in pop culture of rap. And the politicians are doing their best to keep them there so they can pimp them out as they become adults.

For the many good things realized through the Civil Rights movement the implosion of the AA family was an unintended consequence....restraint was cast aside and this was one horrific result

This is all true but the familial crisis among blacks (absentee fathers, etc) is far worse than among whites.
